Crypto for payments and payouts - where does it actually help versus just add risk?

Cutting through the hype: where does crypto actually help for payments and payouts, and where does it just add risk? Real upsides - payouts where fiat rails are weak, no chargebacks inbound, independence from the card schemes. Real downsides - volatility, accounting, customer friction, and converting back to fiat reintroduces the middlemen you were dodging. Where does it genuinely earn its place for you? (not advice)

That’s where it genuinely earns its place, paying people where fiat rails are slow or just don’t reach. A real gap it fills, not a duplicate of something fiat already handles fine.

agreed, it’s a gap-filler not a strategy. use it exactly where fiat fails and nowhere else. crypto-first is as silly as crypto-never.
