Disclosure up front: this is my own program, so obviously I want you to join, but I’ll give you the honest version. We run revshare on a small group of cam sites. Standard lifetime revshare, weekly payouts once you clear the minimum, real-time stats, and I actually answer my own emails. What we’re NOT: the biggest network, or the highest headline rate you’ll see advertised. What we are: consistent payers who don’t shave and don’t ghost small affiliates. If reliability over a flashy number is your thing, DM me and I’ll set you up. If you want the giant-network experience, this isn’t it, and that’s fine.
an owner who says it is a slow burn up front gets more trust from me than one promising fast money. revshare only pays if the traffic you send sticks around and rebuys, so it rewards patience and punishes churn and burn. for a media buyer that means it fits your evergreen recurring traffic, not a one-shot pop blast you want cashed out by friday.
stating the disclosure up front is why i’ll actually engage instead of scrolling past. from the affiliate-management side the questions that matter on any revshare are the boring ones. how long is the cookie, is it lifetime revshare or does it expire, how clean is the reporting. an owner who answers those straight is worth a test, one who dodges them is not.
an owner calling it a slow burn plainly is a better sign than one selling fast money. the only things i really want answered are the dull ones, cookie length, lifetime versus expiring revshare, and whether the reporting is clean. answer those without wriggling and it is worth a test.
The revshare versus PPS argument is old and the answer has not really changed. Revshare wins when your traffic stays and rebuys, PPS wins when it bounces. A cam program on revshare is a bet on retention, theirs and yours. Test a slice of it against whatever PPS you run now and give it a couple of months to settle, not a couple of days. Most people quit revshare in week one and never see the part where it compounds.
an owner saying that out loud is worth taking seriously. revshare is patient compounding money and anyone promising fast returns either doesn’t get it or is selling you something. the questions that actually decide it are the dull ones, cookie length, lifetime vs expiring, clean reporting, and a straight shooter answers those without dressing them up.
carve off a small slice of your real traffic, run it clean with proper tracking, and judge the program on your own numbers over a couple of months rather than the pitch. a program that is actually confident welcomes that, a shaky one gets twitchy about it. the willingness to be tested on a slice is itself a signal. the pitch is built to persuade, only your own numbers on your own traffic actually tell you anything.
that’s the expectation a new affiliate has to walk in with. revshare builds as the users you referred stick around, so if you want quick money you’ve misread the whole thing. expect the slow burn and you stay long enough for the retained base to actually pay, expect fast cash and you quit right before it matures.
same discipline applies to any sponsor or revshare offer, not just mine. run it on a tracked slice and look at what it actually pays on your traffic before you commit real volume. the pitch always looks good, your postbacks are the only thing that tells you if it holds up.
before i send a cam program anything, i want to know how the rebill looks on retained users, not just the first signup bounty. a program that pays big on signup and nothing on month two trains you to send churners. show me what a sticky player is worth over a few months.
i send cam traffic to few program and the one that keep me is not the big bounty, is the one who pay on time every week without i have to chase. the chasing cost you more than the extra few dollar on the rate. reliable beat big for me.
the thing i want from a cam revshare program beyond the rate is clean honest reporting i can reconcile, because on revshare i am trusting your numbers for months. a program that is cagey about the dashboard is telling me something before i send a single click.
