whats your definition of clean history here, because no penalties you can find is doing a lot of work in that sentence. can you show the wayback for what each one hosted before? adult domains carry baggage and a buyer needs to see exactly what, not take your word that you looked.
interested depending on niche. drop the tld mix and rough age bands at least so people know if its worth a dm. nobody wants to message blind and then find out everything is five years old and sat parked the whole time.
age alone isnt worth much if it was parked the whole time, parked domains have no link equity to inherit. the valuable ones actually hosted real content and kept their backlinks warm. which of these have a real history versus just an old registration date?
ask for the transfer method before anyone pays anything. registrar push with the auth code, not account access. ive seen aged domain sales where the seller keeps the account and you end up with no real control. no offense meant, its just standard due diligence on a cash sale.
fair pushback all. to be clear about half hosted real sites with content and the other half were registered and sat. ill note which is which when you dm. transfer is standard auth code push, escrow is fine for the bigger ones. not trying to hide anything, happy to walk the wayback per domain on a call.
the escrow offer is the green flag here, thats the right way to do it. for anyone buying aged adult domains also check theyre not on any blocklist, a perfectly clean whois can still be firewall blocked at some isps from behavior years ago that doesnt show in the history.
late but if any are flip friendly content niches ping me. i care less about the adult angle and more about whether the backlinks are real and the archive looks legit. send me the two or three with actual hosting history, skip the parked ones.
clean history as far as you can tell is the scary part. i buy expired and aged all the time and the graveyard of domains that looked clean and werent is real. pull the full backlink profile not just the wayback, a domain can have a pristine archive and a filthy link profile pointing at it from some old spam blast. if the toxic links are there google remembers even after a drop. check that before, not after you build on it.
Agreed, and I did screen for exactly that before listing these, pulled the link profiles and dropped two from the batch that had junk pointing at them. Happy to share the export per domain on dm so you are not taking my word for clean. Escrow on the sale regardless, as said above.
